CIS 150 – This course provides an overview of contemporary information systems, and how they are used in organizations. It presents an introduction to the discipline of CIS and how information systems can be used to create competitive advantage. Topics include application/web development, including the system development life cycle, information security, business process management, and emerging technologies. Students will develop basic web sites including the use of HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
Tutorial 3 – Designing a Page Layout using images and customs fonts
Tutorial 4 – Graphic Design with CSS. This tutorial used CSS to position images within a family tree webpage
Tutorial 5 – Designing for the Mobile Web. This tutorial shows how to edit a daycare’s web page to display properly on a mobile device.
Tutorial 6 – Working with Tables and Columns. This tutorial allowed us to work with HTML to create tables to show the weekly schedule of TV shows
Tutorial 7 – Designing a Web Form using HTML to allow customers to create their pizza orders
